The History Channel’s “The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch” chronicles the on-going investigation into one of the most mysterious ranches on the planet—Skinwalker Ranch. The research team includes a vast array of experts in their respective fields and makes use of state-of-the art technology including boots on the ground eye-witness accounts on a 480-acre ranch in NE Utah. However, they are not the first. Prior to its’ current owner, the ranch was owned by Robert Bigelow, founder of Bigelow Aerospace. In 1995, Bigelow founded the National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS) for the purpose of researching “fringe sciences” and the paranormal. Millions of dollars were invested into this including remote sensors, video surveillance, and human observers. Bigelow sold the ranch in 2016 and in the following year (May 28, 2017) adamantly stated in a 60 Minutes interview with Lara Logan that he believed in ETs and that they were here.
Lara Logan: Do you believe in aliens?
Robert Bigelow: I’m absolutely convinced. That’s all there is to it.
Logan: Do you also believe that UFOs have come to Earth?
Bigelow: There has been and is an existing presence, an ET presence. And I spent millions and millions and millions—I probably spent more as an individual than anybody else in the United States has ever spent on this subject.
Since the success of History Channel’s show, the obscure ranch has solicited more interest regarding its nature, i.e., is it a portal, a place where the “veil” between the natural and supernatural is a bit thinner (cf. Eph 2:2)? Is it somewhat of an embassy where non-human entities are granted access?
The deceitful nature of this phenomenon must always be kept in mind when addressing this topic. In addition to dealing with the covert nature of the government’s involvement at the ranch, there’s also the more than likely involvement of non-human evil entities, specifically the forces of darkness. It’s like attempting to observe something through a pair of binoculars in which one monocular has film on it and the other is always slightly out of focus. Thus, it’s very difficult to get a very clear view as to what exactly is going on. I will give my theory at the end, however, there are some curious common denominators.
1-The apparitions (if we can call them that) only appear on their schedule.
2-Various crafts, objects, and entities appear and disappear at will.
3-There seems to be Electronic Magnetic Pulses that disrupt all forms of technology,
4-Similar to the UFO phenomenon, it’s not a good place to be for cattle.
5-Long term exposure to the ranch is not good physically, spiritually, nor psychologically.
My Theory: In Job 1, the devil is asked where he had been and he responds by saying, “From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it” (Job 1:7). Therefore, we know that he and the forces of darkness have limited access to earth. I have no biblical support for this and it’s just a theory, but as an international traveler I wonder if there’s somewhat of a controlled “entry point” for the forces of darkness to visit earth and that this ranch in Utah happens to be one of them. Just a thought.
